Celebrated for his soulful and unique sound, guitarist Scott Verbeek blends funky grooves and fresh tones that both captivate and challenge his audience. His unique approach to the guitar emphasizes lyrical melodies and improvisation. Scott has performed/written/recorded with The Hamiltones, Five Alarm Funk, Warren Dean Flandez and Dawn Pemberton among others.
CAREER BACKGROUND
Since Graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2013, Scott has been gigging relentlessly with his signature red guitar all over Vancouver and throughout North America.
Scott has performed at the Vancouver Jazz Festival, Queen Elizabeth Theater, Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival and Vancouver Folk Festival among others.
He also has a regular residency at local club Guilt and Company.

With covers ranging from the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Nirvana and Alicia Keys, Scott has a musical range that keeps him flexible in different scenarios.
