Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Mike Machado has made a name for himself in the bar/pub/venue circuit in downtown Vancouver, Lower Mainland and GTA since his arrival in 2014. His band, The Mike Machado Trio is the fruition of a dedication and love towards the Blues-Rock/Classic Rock as well as the music of his youth, 90s rock and grunge music. Their shows are a real live experience and they bring an intensity and edginess that is a trademark of their shows and sound. They dont hold back and you can guarantee an authentic live Blues and Rock ‘n’ Roll experience.

When he plays solo, on electric guitar with loop pedal and vocals, his well-rounded and versatile sets consist of Blues/Rock/Funk/Soul covers from Jimi Hendrix and Tracy Chapman to classic rock and 90s rock (the Doors, Bob Marley, RHCP, Nirvana, Green Day).
